VM Multi-Level Auto Attendants

Purpose

Multi-level Auto Attendant allows callers to work down a tree structure of menus, refining their requirements at every level until they reach their desired destination. For example:

"Press 1 for Sales. Press 2 for Accounts"

then

"Thank you for pressing 1 for Sales, please choose one of the following options."

Mailbox Number

System-generated, protected field. Indicates the number of a Menu Node mailbox.

 

Name

Enter a name up to 20 characters for the menu level – e.g., Sales, Accounts, etc.

Not required for Menu Node mailboxes; therefore, leave the field blank.

  • Only existing mailboxes can be entered.

  • On bilingual systems, you cannot use the number assigned to the Language Mailbox.
